Fly Trap was one of my favorite projects to work on. Fly Trap taught me how to use the cinematic tools within Unreal Engine 5. I spent four months making Fly Trap with a group of talented individuals. I primarily focused on animating within Unreal Engine as well as environmental design.

I used a variety of Unreal Engine 5 tools to help this project come to life. Level Sequences were used to create and animated scenes. The foliage tool allowed for creating a realistic environment with Quixel Megascans. The landscape tool helped me create a realistic terrain as well as the lake. Metahumans were used to create realistic character models with complex rigs. All facial animations were motion captured with Metahuman animator. Body animations were either key framed or motion captured.
